Meet Hiedi Simon

Experience architect

My passion is producing experiences that help people learn, grow, heal, dream bigger, and take meaningful action. I love designing environments where people expand their thinking and connect authentically, with themselves, with others, and with new possibilities. Because when the right people come together in the right environment, transformation happens.

For more than 34 years, I have designed gatherings that bring people together, inspire growth, and create lasting impact.

My career has spanned many facets of the event industry—from hotels and retreat centers to owning my own event planning company and serving for more than three decades as the Event Director for one of personal development’s most recognized teachers, Mary Morrissey.

I have produced everything from large-scale celebrations to national conferences, international retreats, and virtual gatherings that have influenced nearly one million people. Today, I bring that unique combination of event expertise and insight from the personal development world to visionary leaders who want to create moments people mark their lives by.

I believe shared experiences have the power to change lives because of what becomes possible when people step into something they’ve never fully experienced before: new ways of engaging, exploring, connecting, and seeing themselves and the world.

In that space, people surprise themselves. They say things they didn’t know they were ready to say. They laugh more easily. They recognize parts of themselves that have been waiting to be seen. What once felt scary starts to feel alive with possibility. What once felt heavy feels lighter. What once felt distant begins to feel within reach.

There is a quiet kind of sparkle in these moments. A sense of something genuine and extraordinary being revealed.
Creating environments and opportunities that invite that kind of discovery, where people feel more open, more connected, and more fully themselves, is my life’s work.

Stop Planning Events. Start Planning Experiences.

For decades, I thought my life’s work was producing events. I led the production of the highest-caliber transformational events in the personal development industry, and thousands of lives were changed.

Yet over time, I noticed something. I was captivated by what most people couldn’t see: the moments that changed people. Why did one activity spark a breakthrough? Why did some events fade while others became milestones people carried for years?

Slowly, the answer emerged. Transformation happens through authentic, real connection, and the design of the event itself creates the conditions for it. I’d spent years mastering production. My true passion was designing the experiences that allow people to transform.

So I stepped away from the role I’d mastered to devote myself to creating transformational experiences, cultivating community, and teaching others to do the same.

That’s when Diamond Event Design was born.

Today, I coach purpose-driven leaders to create conferences, retreats, gatherings, and life-expanding journeys that are intentionally designed for lasting impact—not just seamless execution.

Because the difference between a good event and an extraordinary one isn’t a bigger budget, better production, or more information. It’s the invisible architecture of an experience that helps people feel connected, inspired, and transformed long after the event is over. That’s the work I’m dedicated to. And it’s the work I now help others create.

The Experience Behind the Impact

For over three decades, I have designed and produced transformational events, retreats, conferences, travel experiences, workshops, and community gatherings that bring people together, inspire growth, and create lasting impact. This depth of experience allows me to see possibilities others often overlook.

Meaning Matters Most

The most transformational experiences are not necessarily the most elaborate. They are the most intentional.

I’ve seen organizations invest heavily in production and create very little emotional impact. I’ve also seen simple, intentional experiences create profound transformation.

Transformation is not created by flashy fireworks or celebrity speakers. It’s created by design.

I use the Diamond Experience Method to help clients turn their vision into an experience that reflects their purpose:

I help people create experiences that transform lives—whether that happens in a ballroom, a retreat center, a luxury resort, a foreign country, or around a campfire.

Every experience has its own unique essence. It’s own energy. It’s own sparkle.

My role is to help uncover that essence, amplify it, and weave it into every aspect of the attendee journey so the experience feels cohesive, meaningful, and unforgettable.

Because when an experience fully embodies its purpose, attendees don’t just attend. They transform. And they come back for more.
